E-Cards. They're quick. They're flashy. They don't take a minute to prepare. Generally, they are free, or most of them are. And, when you send one to a friend or a relative they let that person know you were thinking of them.
I've gone to the trouble of wading through a whole bunch of sites that offer e-cards to select those I thought were done well and with a minimum of fuss that you can send to folks.
Here's a hint: send one to yourself first and you will then see just what it's like for the person on the receiving end of the card and make the determination whether it's going to be an easy operation or one that is likely to cause consternation.
Also, something that you might consider is to just write a letter and mail it to the person. It's one thing to get an e-mail. Yes, I know I do it mostly now too. It's easy. It doesn't cost you a stamp. It gets mailed a whole lot sooner than a regular letter does. But, mailing a letter to somebody can be something special for them. It's because they might be inclined to save it. And, in the saving of it read it again several years down the road. You know your mother does that with your letters and when, exactly was the last time you wrote a letter to her?

Jonah's Fate
After hearing the story of Jonah at Sunday School, a little girl repeated the story at school on Monday.
Her teacher said it was physically impossible for a whale to swallow a human because, even though it is a very large mammal, its throat is very small.
The little girl said, "But how can that be? Jonah was swallowed by a whale."Irritated, the teacher reiterated that a whale could not swallow a human. "It is physically impossible!" she said.
Undaunted, the little girl said, "Well, when I get to heaven I will ask Jonah."
To this, the teacher said, "What if Jonah went to hell?"
The little girl replied, "Then YOU ask him!"
