I have enjoyed cooking since I was a little girl. I can remember coming up with purple cakes that the adults rolled their eyes at. But, I loved it. I've never been a fancy cook, but I do enjoy trying out new things. There was the time I made cheese. It ended up tasting and being of the consistency of pencil erasers, but I can always say I tried making it. Yogurt was slightly more successful, though I never did get it to be as thick as what you buy in the stores.
What has been different with my cooking since I began to channel was to have some pretty extraordinary advice come to me from the Folk in Spirit I talk to. I love the suggestions they make and although I don't always act on every one I do value having them.
The very first thing I ever did in the kitchen was with Seth. Dennis had come home with a bunch of mangos. I didn't know the first thing about mango. We also, as I recall, had a bunch of lemons. What ensued was Seth's No Fail, No Fall Lemon Mango Cake. It was wonderful. It was also the first time I learned that Seth had more to talk about than just spiritual things. I was thrilled. I never looked back again.
