Hi.
Greetings.
Why so formal?
Well, it might do to set a precedent of being slightly
more formal. It is what a guide might sound like.
Greetings from Planet Xebo?
Something along those lines. Tell the story about when
you asked if I knew any extraterrestrials.
Oh, that’s a funny one. I’m starting a collection of
Channeling Funnies, and this should be there too. Anyway, many years ago, I was
reading books channeled by an entity called Bartholemew,
who said he was an alien. His channel was Mary Margaret Moore, and she channeled
in the 1980s. Well worth the read. He reads and sounds just like a guide, so I
recommend him.
Of course, you always need to keep a weather eye on what the
channel is thinking about in real life to determine whether what is being
channeled is horseshit, hogwash, or the real thing. The problem is that
sometimes what comes out of a channel’s mouth can sometimes be way out there. I
know. I’ve done it. Anyway, that is the number one rule for a channel. Don’t let
stuff get too far out of hand. Pay attention to your mental health and
emotional well-being and if you think you need it go seek some psychotherapy.
It doesn’t mean you’re crazy. It means we live in a difficult world, and
sometimes having somebody to help you along the way is helpful. I always make sure that if I go seek therapy, the person is open to the idea of channeling. Surprisingly, there are many people out there in the field who are open to the
idea of channeling. I had a friend who was a psychotherapist and recommended that if I ever needed to talk to anybody, I seek out a transpersonal psychotherapist. Anyway, public service message aside, on to the funny part.
I’d been reading the Brother Bartholomew books. It was the
first time I’d heard of a guide being an alien. Of course, we were all, and I suppose still are, titillated by the ideas of aliens taking over the earth and stuff like that. There are enough movies out there to indicate that the people producing
movies are all in on it. However, it appeared that Bartholomew was the real deal,
and I was fascinated. So, I asked Seth, my own spirit guide, if he’d ever seen
an alien.
He didn’t say anything for a rather long time. I started getting a little antsy, thinking I’d crossed a line or something, and maybe said something I shouldn’t have. Then, he asked me, “Who do you think you’ve been
talking to all this time?”
It was so funny. My mind started some pinball action as I
began connecting the dots. He’d already said he didn’t have a body and was
composed of particles of energy. He “appeared” to me as an elderly guy, balding
with a bit of a paunch. Even Robert Butts, Jane Robert’s husband, had painted
him so. Actually, Robert made Seth look sort of like a prison guard might look.
But who am I to argue with what another person sees? To Robert, Seth was pretty
much bald. To me, Seth has white hair and isn’t as fat.
Seth had explained to me that in order for a person to
relate to somebody in Spirit, the guides and FIS (folk in Spirit) many times
assume a human-like or animal-like appearance. It’s sort of what we expect. It’s
hard to talk to the air. It’s easier if you’ve got somebody to talk to. I don’t
normally see Seth. I certainly can’t see him with my everyday eyes. I see him
with my inside eyes, with my mind’s eye. I see flashes of movement sometimes. I
can see him smile or wink. I can feel him put his arms around me. Just quick.
Comforting. I don’t know what other people feel or see or sense.
So, I did a deeper dive into researching where Bartholomew
and Mary Margaret Moore are now. Mary Margaret passed on in 2022. The five
books with information from Bartholomew are out there. You can get them on
Google or any other used book dealers like Abe
Books or Thrift
Books. There is a Substack
devoted to Bartholomew, which I just signed up for a few minutes ago. The
information is not lost. Not at all. So, it’s been an enjoyable trip for me
this morning. But yes, Seth has most certainly seen aliens.
Would you mind?
No, not at all. I thought you said you weren’t going to do
any more channeling.
The entity that is Bartholomew is actually the choral
effect Seth has spoken he is a part of too. The voice of teachers come
together, collaborating and in whatever voice or language is deemed appropriate
to come forth and speak. In this instance, it is you.
Thanks.
I believe you said, “Wow!”
Yes, I did, but I didn’t think I should put it here.
Why not?
I don’t know. Bartholomew?
Yes. Thank you for asking if I would speak. With
channeling, you might remember that all things have consciousness, so that you
might speak with a rock or, as Seth has said, even a door nail has
consciousness. People only listen to advice when it interests them. Go to
somebody and ask them, “Would you like enough money so that you never again
need worry about making a car payment, paying your rent, or purchasing food?”
Believe me, you will have their interest. The idea, though, of not caring where that money is coming from is a whole different scenario. If you trust that your
needs are met, if you contribute to the family coffers with either a job or a
way to make money, then you are doing your part. The worry or sense of the
frantic that intrudes upon a goal is what will poke the stick into the spokes
of your bicycle.
So, concentrate on being calm and patient. Concentrate
on meditation, on an evenness in your life and in your work and things, the
worrisome things will abate. Our blessings and thank you for allowing us to
speak in this manner again.
Goodness. That was interesting. I’m so glad that Bartholomew
said some things in this post. Sometimes people get all antsy that you are encroaching
on another person’s guide. It actually happens all the time. It’s like talking
to Babe Ruth, Marilyn Monroe, or Gilda Radner. I suppose I think of Folk in
Spirit the same way I think of the spirit guides. The communication, the way to
communicate, is open and never limited. It’s how you filter the information as a
channel that makes a difference in what is being said. Anyway, that was fun and
totally unexpected.
Stay tuned, and thanks for reading.

Hi. It's Pauline. I could have updated the post, but I decided to leave a comment. Hey, people read comments too, right? Anyway, I was looking at the picture illustrating this piece wondering if I should have put labels or arrows on it indicating who was who. Seth is on the left and Bartholomew is on the right. Somebody in Spirit said to me, "You should have made his skin green with little antennae poking out of his head." I have a feeling Seth said that. I could be wrong. Anyway, I thought it was funny.
