Announcing the Contact Page at Talking to Spirit

In redecorating Talking to Spirit for the third time, I decided to get rid of the couch and the coffee table I was always knocking into with my shins. I also need some way for people who are interested to contact me. With that in mind, please know that I cannot engage in lengthy discussions with you. If even 25 people in a day wanted 20 minutes of my time, that would be me giving up 500 minutes of the time I spend writing. That would be 8 ½ hours. Folks, that’s a whole workday, that I don’t get paid for. And, seeing as how I am a one-woman show, there is nobody to handle things like that for me.

This morning, I made a Contact Me page. There is already an opportunity for people to make a comment on the blog posts, like this one. But I'm assuming the Contact Me page at Talking to Spirit is going to be more of a private thing. I built it in Google Forms. It is simple with only three spaces to write. There is your name, your email address, and a rather large space for your question or comment. I did a test submission and had pretty near 300 words.

If you want somebody to hold your hand, please be willing to pay them to do that. If you think you are being scammed, then turn around, walk away, and don’t say I didn’t warn you. Actually, what I did was to go to several psychics. I wanted to know what it was like. I’d advise you to do the same.

After a while of doing that I felt like I had a pretty good feeling for what it was like to help people as a psychic. Also, it was getting a bit expensive, so I decided to learn to become one. Good move, Pauline. Best move I'd made in years.

All the psychics I visited were great, except one, which was also valuable to my development as a psychic. I learned what not to do.  To that end, if somebody says they will tell you who put a curse on you for more money, that, dear readers, is a scam artist. Just say thank you and walk away. I had a lady chase me down the sidewalk, saying that for more money, she’d get her sister in on the act, who was also a psychic, and they would light a really tall candle. She held her hand out at about four feet to show me she was talking about a big, powerful candle. Just walk away. And that, too, was a valuable lesson for me because I got to see a scam artist in action.

You learn from other people all your life. You learn how to be polite at work. You learn that it is important to be on time. You learn the hard way what it feels like to grieve.

There are no schools to learn to be a psychic. Actually, there used to be one in Berkeley. I went there after spending five years on my own and learning how to channel. They said I wasn’t channeling. It wasn’t until year five in their program that they even allowed anybody to channel. What? So, I’d be careful about committing or plunking down a lot of money for a course. Do as I did and learn it yourself. Nothing bad about the Berkeley Psychic Institute, and I am sure a great many good psychics have passed through their doors, but the people I talked to? They were total nincompoops. To give them their due, likely, they put newbie people on the front desk just like any other business in the world. I know what that feels like. Been there and done that with many of the jobs I’ve held. I used to tell our employees to smile and to look customers in the eye. I’d practice with them for a little bit. It wasn’t part of my job, I just felt strongly about it. Every single employee in our company was the face of the company. You know how that goes.

Please, don’t get me wrong. I would recommend attending classes with James Praagh. He is a delightful person. I attended one of his events once and had a huge psychic hit. I’ll tell you about it in another post. It is retrieving information from an object that you hold from another person. It’s called psychometry.

So, although I might not have the time to respond to questions with a lengthy answer, unless you wouldn’t mind seeing it in print here on the website, so others might see what it’s like, I will make time for one or two absolutely dedicated students. I’m figuring these are people who are willing to spend the time learning how to be a good channel.

That’s what I consider myself to be. A good channel. When I was a drinking woman, I was a great channel. Ha. I can see Seth, my spirit guide, in my mind’s eye, scrubbing his face with his hand. There is humor here, too. I will say he has always long maintained that moderation is the best policy. I wasn’t moderate in my drinking. I went over the deep end with it.

So, to that end, my plans are to give you the opportunity to speak to your own beloveds who have passed on. Perhaps, someday, there will be a book. Actually, there already is. I just need to edit it.

Thanks for reading. I appreciate you taking the time.
