When I channel, it is not as if I’m going to hit a switch and go from me to Seth or whoever is speaking from the land of Spirit. After all these years, I find I am infused, if you can imagine it. Infused with Spirit.
These days, I can still sense when Spirit wants to talk and
that what they say does not originate with me. And yet, it is colored by me.
Any psychic is like that. We are the paintbrush, and Spirit is the paint. Mary said
that to me once.
But sometimes it isn’t until afterward that I read something
I wrote, and I can see that what I wrote did not come from me. It’s like having
salt and pepper in the same container. Once shaken out, you can identify the
white or pink specks as salt and the black ones as pepper.
I have to be okay with that.
And, typically, I am, until it hits me just how seamlessly Spirit
is in my life.
I know about it. I am aware of it.
There is no on or off, it’s just always on. I am well-balanced enough that
nothing obnoxious or terrible is going to come out of my mouth.
You set up rules when you first begin channeling. I did it.
I wasn’t the best, and it was when the hokum came out of my mouth, I’d take a
step back and say to Spirit, “Hey, buddy. We need to talk.” I’m sure in the
larger picture, they were teaching me, testing my resolve, testing my
boundaries, and asking me to step it up a little bit.
I remember when I realized I could make the rules. My first
rule was, “One at a time!” I also advise new channelers not to repeat anything
they hear from Spirit for at least that first year. It can get pretty
incredible. Also, don’t take financial advice from Spirit. I won’t say anytime,
but my experience is that those lottery numbers they gave me just didn’t work.
This is also why you will never hear me channeling anything
that smacks of dieting advice. I’ve been overweight for much of my life. I
wouldn’t trust it. This reminds me of something my grandmother used to say. She
said always go to restaurants where the cooks are fat. That way, you know the
food is good. Oh, and I did ask Seth, my spirit guide, to help me lose weight
early on in our relationship. I won’t do that again. But I did lose 50 pounds.
It was an awful lot of, “Put that back! Are you sure you want to eat that? Consider
your options.” It was like having a drill sergeant with me 24 hours a day. It
worked, but it was difficult.
Anyway, my point and the idea that I’ve been turning over
this morning has to do with the idea that everybody is psychic. It was
something I came to learn after I began channeling and developing my psychic
abilities. I was ordinary, and then I was a channel. I taught myself. It took
years, but finally it happened. Now, instead of not having it and then having
it, I think of it more like an awakening of sorts.
So, because I can recognize when Spirit has a hand in what I
write, what prevents them from doing that with everybody? I mean, why not?
If you want to try it out, invite Spirit into your life.
They are already there anyway. All you have to do is crack the door open a
little bit and issue the invitation.
It’s really as simple as that.
Hey, thanks for reading. If you want to hear more of what I
write, I’ve got some links in the sidebar on my home page for where I write on Medium and
Substack. I’ve got four YouTube channels. Or Google me.
Love,
Pauline Evanosky
