I’ve been a psychic channel since 1993. I really don’t need
any props other than a computer for channeling. If I get better at the verbal
channeling, I could record my Spirit Guide’s voice, but that’s about it.
I don’t need incense. I don’t need crystals. I don’t need
music, although I do use it occasionally. The meditative space is something I’ve
been chasing for years. And you really don’t need any props for that.
However, all that said, I do have special stones and
crystals. I’ve got a Tibetan singing bowl. I’ve got little writer do-dads all
on the desk in front of me, as if I’ve got all the room in the world. They will
get buried as it gets nearer to the time when I need to either prevent an
avalanche of all the stuff on my desk or lose something that was just here.
I have two totem animals. One is a sea turtle, and the other
is a bear. I’m closer to the sea turtle. I can’t remember when the bear showed
up.
I’ve got a crystal ball. I’ve never been able to make it
work. I’ve got a deck; actually, I think a couple of decks of Tarot cards. I’ve
got a Ouija board that I no longer use, but it’s a wonderful base for my
keyboard that sits on my piano keyboard. If I’m going to do some Ouija, the
board is right there, or we could just do Air Ouija. Bet you never heard of
that.
I’d love to see auras. The closest I’ve come was to see a tendril
of grey smoke rise from my index finger. Another time the tip of my finger lit
with a bright light from within. Only once.
So, I would say the do-dads are fun. You could have a
special robe that you wear as you meditate. And the meditations you do can be
searching for nothingness, to calm yourself, or guided meditations where you
set out to meet your spirit guide or to investigate something on the woo-woo
that catches your fancy, like a past life regression just to see what’s there.
Do-Dads do not force a psychic connection. However, if you
believe they do, then, by all means, buy something. But they are not required
to awaken a sense in yourself that you already have. That’s why they say
awaken. It’s like a fine-tuning of all your already present senses. It’s the
difference between someone who says they are able to observe life around them and
an artist who is able to observe and then translate what they see or feel to a
piece of paper. Observe is observe is observation until it is not.
Pretend is what you really need to open your psychic senses.
Pretend and a childlike innocence. And you’ve got that covered.
Thanks for reading.
