Beckoning with Bacon

When you beckon,
I think of bacon
When you beckon,
I think of walks

When you beckon,
I want to cuddle
In my soft, smelly blanket
On the couch.

I was trying to figure out how to spell beckon. You know how you can go to Google with your misspelled word, and they can usually figure it out? I had becon. I knew it wasn’t right, but for the life of me I could not find the right letters. So, I went to CoPilot, which is like Google on steroids, and he straightened me out. I wanted the word: beckon. I repeated the word to myself, and somehow I got switched around to a dog. Bacon was one of the words Google thought I wanted to use.

So, I’ve been wanting for the last few weeks to learn how to write poetry. It’s something I’ve never understood. I actually created a poetry section on Substack where I began to write limericks. Over the past week, I’ve been branching out into what my mind wants to say is poetry. I don’t know if it is or not. I don’t think it really matters.

However, this is a sideways sort of move that also works with learning how to be psychic.

You want to go somewhere, so you have your goal in mind. That would be to become psychic. You also have a plan in mind. What you don’t know is that plans change. All the time.

You begin to read some books and/or visit some psychics. You gather the experiences you think people who are psychics have had. That every psychic is first and foremost a human being becomes apparent as they all turn out to be different.

The WooWoo part comes in when each of them goes their own way. The magic part of this is that every way will work. It really doesn’t matter what you choose. As you move into the WooWoo way of life, the WooWoo people will come to join you. They will teach you the rest of the way. So, you might learn the dharma way of life, you might seek out saints, you might find a witch or two. All of them are good teachers.

It’s like having two chemistry teachers. The first one teaches you the basics. The second one teaches you how to blow stuff up. Sort of. Different teachers, but they build on what the first one taught you. One was not better than the other. You needed both of them. In fact, you’re going to need another 23 chemistry teachers to get where you want to be going. All in good time. They will show up in your life when you are ready for them. It doesn’t help that you know ahead of time just how many teachers you will have; it matters that you make a commitment to pursue your dream.

Anyway, that’s what was on my mind this morning. Be sure to have a look at the Daily Channeling on my home page. It changes every day.
